Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of auto locksmith services by Keylux Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) in London and Surrey. By booking or using our services, including emergency car key replacement, lost car keys, duplicate key cutting, car key programming, and vehicle diagnostics, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide automotive locksmith services across London and Surrey, including:
• Emergency lockouts and lost car key replacement
• Spare and duplicate key cutting and programming
• Key programming for smart keys, proximity keys, and transponders
• Vehicle diagnostics, resets, and troubleshooting
We may refuse unsafe, unlawful, or impractical work.
2. Booking and Contract Formation
Bookings may be confirmed verbally, electronically, or via acceptance of a locksmith quotation. A binding contract is formed when you request auto locksmith London or Surrey services, including duplicate keys or car diagnostics.
3. Fees and Payment
- Call out fees apply for emergency locksmith London and Surrey services
• Quotes are estimates unless otherwise confirmed
• Extra charges may apply for complex car key programming or vehicle diagnostics
• Payment is due immediately upon service completion
• We accept [cash, card, bank transfer]
4. Cancellation & No Show
- You may cancel without charge with at least 1 hour’s notice
• Short notice cancellations or no shows for auto locksmith London or Surrey jobs may incur a call out fee
5. Warranty
- Workmanship for locksmith services is warranted for 3 months
• Warranty covers workmanship only, not parts supplied by third parties
• Excludes normal wear, misuse, tampering, or unrelated faults
6. Liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. missed work due to lost car keys)
• Minor cosmetic damage may occur during some emergency locksmith work; we are not liable unless due to negligence
• Liability is capped at the total fees paid for the service
7. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or non performance caused by factors outside our control such as traffic, weather, or supply issues in London or Surrey.
8. Client Obligations
You agree to:
• Provide accurate details when booking emergency locksmith services
• Show proof of vehicle ownership when required for lost car key replacement
• Ensure safe working conditions for our locksmiths
9. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These Terms apply in addition to your rights as a consumer.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to locksmith services in London or Surrey shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
